An enjoyable morning was spent at the Oxfordshire and District Brass Band Association’s Spring Contest, and we are thrilled that our principal euphonium player Mike won best instrumentalist in the fourth section. Although we didn’t win any band prizes on this occasion it was a useful first run out of the regional qualifying test piece and helpful to receive adjudicator feedback as we continue to work towards the regional qualifying contest in three weeks time.
