We are pleased to say we came fourth in the fourth section at the Stevenage contest today. Although we narrowly missed out on a place at the National Finals in Cheltenham, with a series of strong finishes over the last three years, we are top of the provisional fourth section table and looking forward to promotion to the third section next year.

To our knowledge this is the first time that the band have gained promotion to the third section in our history! Thank you to the hard work of all our players without who this would not be possible, and especially to our MD James Haigh whose dedication and belief in us inspires us to keep growing as a band.

Many congratulations to The Cobham Band, City of Oxford Silver Band and Wantage Silver Band Academy Band who will represent London and Southern Counties at the National Finals.
