It has been a busy week for Godalming Band and Godalming Youth Band. On Sunday 4th May, the senior band played on Godalming Bandstand at the Music in the Park VE Day celebration to a large and welcoming audience. Saturday 10th May was super busy, with the Youth Band playing at the Farncombe St John’s Church Fair enjoying the lovely summer weather. This was followed in the evening with the Band quiz. An enjoyable evening was had by all and funds raised enabling us to continue bringing music to events during the year, teaching young musicians and keeping community music making alive in Godalming. Thank you to all who attended and supported us, and in particular thanks to Ian Honeysett for another amazing evening of quizzing.

We will next be playing at the Watercress Festival in Alresford on Sunday 18th May.
